If you only have a few days in a certain place it is better to take some advice from others and be prepared.
These are my 5 tips for Valencia
- Book your flight in advance. It makes a big difference in the price.
- Check if there is a festival or bank holiday. If you come for this festival it’s ok, if not, you’d better stay away, as prices are much higher and it can be very busy in the city these days.
- The months October, April and May are high season, but it is also rain season. Be prepared for some heavy rain. It is only just for a few hours and after that the sun comes out again.
- Book your stay in the city center, next to the river bed Turia or at the beach.
- Take the metro from the Airport. It is very affordable, fast and easy to get to the city center.
